Welcome to Little Orphan Animals!
We are a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group, serving homeless animals in our community since 1993. Our volunteers do everything from cleaning & feeding, fostering, fundraising, vet runs, adoptions, manning our thrift shop and administrative work. Adoption days are held every Saturday at Petsmart in the Cortlandt Town Center, Mohegan Lake from 12 noon - 3 pm. Come by and visit our beautiful orphans for adoption!
Sebastian & Marigold are a boyfriend/girlfriend pair, super sweet & playful, 5 years old & they would love to be adopted together. Green-eyed Marigold is a curous, friendly talker who loves her treats, & golden-eyed Sebastian is a calm, affectionate, regal boy who loves to sit by your side. These two cats came to us from separate situations but bonded at our adoption center. They warm up to new people with a gentle approach, & have become a favorite of all the volunteers.
Volunteers needed! we need clean/feed volunteers for Petsmart in the Cortlandt Town Center and for our adoption center in Peekskill. We need a volunteer to help with giving medicines to cats - if you have any experience with this (or would like to learn) and have some extra time on weekday evenings, please let us know. We have a diabetic cat who needs insulin.
Urgent need! Help us off-set our monthly food bills! Our orphans need Friskies wet and Purina dry cat food. Drop off your donations at our thrift shop, 960 Washington St. in Peekskill, open Monday-Saturday from 11am-4pm. Our orphans thank you!
